I'm a service and UX designer based in Riga, Latvia, with a dual Master's in Service Design Strategies and Innovation from the University of Lapland and the Latvia Academy of Art. I grew up between languages and places, and that's quietly shaped how I work: I'm at my best when I'm listening carefully to people before drawing a single screen.
I'm curious by nature and happiest in the messy early stage of a problem, interviews, sticky notes, half-formed maps, where the real shape of things hasn't surfaced yet. I like understanding the whole system around a person before deciding what to build, and I care as much about the Tuesday-afternoon reality of a design as about how it looks in a portfolio.
Outside the brief, I'm a lifelong learner who moves easily between research, design, and the occasional bit of code, and I believe the most thoughtful design usually comes from genuine curiosity about other people's lives.
